He does look at her, and thankfully the urge to kiss her has passed, so he looks her in the eyes. "You can make up for it later," he says, trying to tease. It doesn't quite come out sounding that way but he smiles a shy little smile and squeezes her hand.

"And it's okay to be selfish if you need to be," he adds. "Right now you need to heal, and you need support, and if you have to demand things to get you through it I think you should."
