She doesn't quite freeze, when he pulls back, but she does pause, wait. Drives her a little nuts to feel this passive, but he hasn't said what he wants and she's kind of afraid to ask. She just doesn't want to start the morning off with shit being all weird, this is so much better.

Apparently he just needed a breather, and a short one. Good, fine, she can deal with that. She stretches a little against his hand, just enough to be appreciative because she can't really move any more than that. But at least she can kiss him, and if he's coming on stronger she'll be a little more herself about it, a little more bold as her hand drifts from his hair to resting against his neck.
