You don't have to. Wash will probably like to meet you.

But if you want to take the time to get some sleep, or at least get a shower and something to eat, we'll stay around as long as you need. Between the two of us, we should be able to handle him.

If he was sick of you, he'd let you know, Wrath. I don't think you have anything to worry about on that score.

You've already done way more than most would. More than I've done. He'll remember that.

We'll stop in, you can take all the time you need after that. Speaking from personal experience, keeping watch is easier when you're fully awake.

Being there is a help. Trust me on that.

Hah. A 'real' job. No, this is busy work. Nothing more. But if you change your mind, you know to contact me.

Well. That's good, at least. Getting time to take a walk doesn't hurt either.

Is morning or lunch time better for you?

Is there any point in finding a job like that when longevity here isn't guaranteed? Not for the Immune. That's not fair to the people employing you, to those who may come to depend on you.

Habits like that can be hard to break. Sometimes for the better when you don't.
