Wrath laughs. "Stay in the shower until you turn into a tall, pink prune. I'll just run up your pay-per-view bill."

"I'm not sure my publicist would like that plan, unfortunately," he said. "And honestly? As busy as I've been I prefer that to loafing around."

"Well, that's what I'm here for. To make sure you get to stay busy, right?" And safe, actually. The safe is the more important part. But this was her principle can be out and about and not having to worry about getting attacked by some crazy. "That mean you're ready to go, then?"

"Absolutely." He gestures with his head and then heads to the door, opening it and ensuring his key card is in his pocket before letting it close behind them. He knew she was familiar with the schedule for the day, so he just started for the car. "At least they're not making me deal with a chauffeur and all that stuff," he remarked.

"All part of the service." Considering the way she could drive sometimes, it was a wonder he didn't want a chauffer, really.

Wrath walks quickly to compensate for her far shorter legs, and gets in front of him. She's not too worried about anyone attacking in the hotel--she's vetted everything far too carefully--but she also didn't get her reputation by being sloppy.

Into the car, and she has to scoot the seat all the way forward. "Seatbelt," she says, automatically. "Safety first." It's a sick how many grown damn men don't want to wear their seatbelts.

He chuckles and reaches for the buckle. "You're here to look out for every aspect of my safety, I guess."
