It's actually pretty strange to be comparing mods, it's usually something pretty personal. Well, that and there's something to be said for keeping any advantages close to the heart.

She has some of her own though? Damn and damn, that only interests him more, despite the fact that he's trying to ignore that.

"It does." Makes perfect sense. "Win, any way possible."

If that involves underhandedness, so be it. At least he comes out alive.

She's never seen the point of keeping things secret unless she's in a competition of some kind. She gets contracts because she's good at what she does; she doesn't need any more advantages than that. And being honest is just easier.

"Well, if you're on a job, sure." Duh. That's just common sense. "But not on a bar brawl. That's just for fun."

"Depends on the brawl." Alright, yeah, he won't deny that throwing down every once in a while is extremely cathartic. There's just something about throwing a punch, throwing someone out a window, good for stress relief.

Occasionally though, the other party doesn't see it the same way. "They come at me, I'm the one walking out."

"You get a lot of people dumb enough to come at you?" The guy's a fucking monster. "Sure, people try to fuck with me all the time." She's tiny. She looks like she can't throw a punch. That's fine by her. "But you must go to the bars where all the dumb shits hang out." She grins at him.

Alright, that at least garners a slight grin; he can appreciate that. "Once in a while."

Hell, it's usually not too bad, a bit of fun, really. Sometimes leads to more, sometimes just leads to trips to the hospital, really either way is totally fine. "People get stupid after a few rounds."

"Really dumb, I guess." She shakes her head, laughing. "We should rumble some time. When the job's done."

That, at least at first thought, is a tempting proposition, but also an entirely terrible idea. If he's already having this many issues with being driven to distraction just on the job, it's certain to be a thousand times worse squaring off.

Given that, he grimaces slightly, giving her a once over, "so eager to die?"

Eyebrow goes up. Squint. "Little overconfident there, big guy. In your wildest dreams."

Alright, that does get a hint of a smirk. "Don't think so."

This is still a bad idea, this is a terrible idea. He's never had good impulse control though.

She smirks right back at him. "Your smile aint' gonna be nearly as cute when you don't have any teeth."

Well now. That's certainly not entirely a response that he'd expected, and it prompts another narrowing of his eyes, because he can't entirely tell how sarcastic she's being. Difficult to read, really. "Think you're over confidant."

"You started it," she points out. "Just because I'm short doesn't mean I can't be as much of an asshole as you."
